The Cisco CCNA Collaboration is by far the most popular certification and where most engineers begin their path to becoming an Expert. Choosing NC-Expert ensures you get the best possible start to building a foundation that will ensure you master the technologies you will need to progress towards your ultimate goal of becoming an Expert. The two courses below are recommended to help you pass the two required exams to become a CCNA Collaboration.
(CICD) Implementing Cisco Collaboration Devices v1.0
This course focuses on providing the skills and knowledge necessary to implement Cisco Unified Communications (UC) solutions. It covers administration of end-user interfaces, telephony and mobility features, and Cisco UC solutions maintenance. A new type of lab called a Discovery lab is introduced. Discovery labs are a learning environment, embedded in the lessons, that enables students to learn about principles and technology in a more interactive, hands-on way. The course also contains Challenge labs. Challenge labs are labs where students test their knowledge gained through a lesson or multiple lessons. After successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
(VND) Implementing Cisco Video Network Devices, CIVND Part 1 & 2
The (VND) course combines the topics in CIVND1 & 2 and teaches students the characteristics of video solutions and how to assess requirements for successful implementation of a video solution. The course describes the characteristics of a video solution and enables students to evaluate the general requirements for video deployments such as codec options, media formats, protocols, network impact, high-level architectural components, interactions, and environmental considerations.
The Implementing Cisco Video Network Devices, Part 2 (CVIND2) course will provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to implement various Cisco Collaboration endpoints in converged Cisco infrastructures. It covers a range of Cisco Collaboration solutions and enables students to implement and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communication
All NC-Expert instructors teaching these courses have proven Expert level knowledge and experience in the real-world through live design, deployment and troubleshooting of customer networks.
To reach CCNP Collaboration Certification you must first have the CCNA Collaboration certification and then successfully pass the four exams associated with the CCNP Level Courses.
(CIPTV1) Implementing Cisco IP Telephony & Video, Part 1
Implementing Cisco IP Telephony & Video, Part 1 (CIPTV1) v1.0 is a five-day course that prepares the learner for implementing a Cisco Collaboration solution at a single-site environment. This course focuses primarily on Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 10.x, which is the call-routing and signaling component for the Cisco Collaboration solution.
Lab exercises included in the course help learners to perform post installation tasks, configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager, implement MGCP and H.323 and, SIP trunks, and build dial plans to place single site on-cluster and off-cluster calling for voice and video. Learners will also implement media resources, audio and video conferencing, and describe QoS.You will learn advanced concepts for designing a Cisco Wireless environment such as:
(CIPTV2) Implementing Cisco IP Telephony and Video, Part 2
Implementing Cisco IP Telephony Video, Part 2(CIPTV2) v1.0 is a five-day course that prepares the learner for implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VCS-C, and Cisco Expressway series in a multisite voice and video network. It covers globalized call routing, URI call routing, global dial plan replication based on the ILS, Cisco Unified SRST, mobility features, call admission control, integration of Cisco VCS and Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and Cisco Mobile Remote access on Cisco Expressway Series. You will learn advanced concepts for deploying a Cisco Wireless environment such as:
(CTCOLLAB) Troubleshooting Cisco IP Telephony and Video
Troubleshooting Cisco IP Telephony Video (CTCOLLAB) v1.0 is a five-day course that prepares the learner for troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VCS-C, and Cisco Expressway series in a multisite voice and video network. The course teaches troubleshooting methodology, triage, resources, tools, and fixes at the integrated system or solution level for Cisco Collaboration Solutions. It covers troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, VCS Control and VCS Expressway, issues with Call Setup, issues with ILS, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Mobility Features, Cisco TelePresence Management Suite, and issues with Voice Quality and Media Resources. You will learn advanced concepts for deploying a Cisco Wireless environment such as:
(CAPPS) Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications v1.0
Integrating Cisco Unified Communications Applications (CAPPS) v1.0 prepares the learner for integrating Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unity Express, Cisco Unified IM and Presence, and video into a Collaboration deployment. It describes voice messaging deployment scenarios, Cisco Unified Presence features, and troubleshooting mechanisms as well as Cisco Unified IM and Presence and Cisco Jabber integration options with Cisco Unified Communications Manager. You will learn advanced concepts for deploying a Cisco Wireless environment such as:
NC-Expert has offered the most comprehensive CCIE Collaboration Program in the market for the past 5 years. We have collaborated with Cisco to create one of the most unique CCIE programs ever to hit the market. We offer several tracks to cover engineers beginning their studies prior to CCNP level certification to an accelerated program for those already holding a current CCIE in another specialty.
Our CCIE courses are only taught by current CCIE Collaboration Instructors and as with all of our CCIE programs our lead developers always hold more than one CCIE and have at least 3 years in the field before we allow them to create a program designed to make our customers an Expert. We know this differentiates us from our competitors, many of which have only a single CCIE on staff and some with less than a year since they have passed themselves.
Why Choose Us for CCIE Training
The NC-Expert program is the most unique and comprehensive CCIE program on the market. All of our expert programs are designed and built on collaboration with multiple CCIEs some working directly with us some we reach out to in the market to make sure we have the most comprehensive program in the market.
We are not like the others, we don't simply give you a lab workbook, rent you rack time and wish you luck.
Our program is based on establishing a relationship and mentoring our customers through the process. We give you honest feedback and coaching about when you will be ready.
We begin by assessing where you are, what your goals are and the amount of time you have to dedicate to the process. We then suggest a Training Track which you will see below. Our program consists of:
Part 1 - Mastering the Core Knowledge and Passing the Written Exam
1st 6 Month Program includes:
Part 2 - Mastering the Lab Exam
2nd 6 Month Program includes:
