Health and Safety Update
NC-Expert has been closely monitoring the ongoing outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and associated guidance as issued by government and health authorities.
As a result of transmission levels, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global pandemic.
We are committed to our customers – to keep you, and our employees, safe. As a training provider we are prepared for this every day with protocols for many types of emergencies, including transmission of illnesses.
We have implemented several precautionary measures to focus on the health and safety of our customers and employees, including:
- Increased timing for our cleaning protocols, with regular disinfection of high traffic areas
- Hand sanitizer stations have been placed in high traffic areas for use by both customers and employees
- Employees have been briefed on the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment
In addition to the above, we are closely monitoring the health of our instructors and on-site employees. If any of them begin to show any signs of illness, they will be asked to work from home until cleared by a medical professional or until the symptoms pass.
Access to our facility will be closely monitored and anyone presenting symptoms, or anyone who has traveled to an area with known high-transmission of COVID-19, will be asked to self-isolate for the recommended period.
We will continue to offer our students the option of in-person training classes at our Head Office site*, and will also continue to widen the scope of attendance methodology to include virtual/real-time attendance options for all our classes.
We hope this reassurance will help alleviate any concerns.
*UPDATE: As a result of California’s governmental COVID-19 restrictions, NC-Expert has withdrawn its invitation for students to attend class, in person, at its Pleasanton (California) headquarters. This decision will be revisited when the State and County governments amend their standing orders.
All open/general schedule training classes will proceed with dates and timing, as advertised, with virtual (remote real-time) attendance being the only available option.
