Designing Cisco Wireless Enterprise Networks (WiDESIGN)
CCNP Wireless
Designing a wireless network lays the foundation for the future. The network designer has the great responsibility to create a robust network which can facilitate current requirements while, at the same time, making allowances for future scalability, and the designer must also foresee potential problems and put safeguards in place to mitigate them. The success of the entire network rests on the designer being capable of making good, well-thought-out decisions. This course provides a new perspective on design concepts.
The student will learn how to design a Cisco wireless network from initial customer contact, to post-deployment activities. They will be taught best practices and how to avoid design pitfalls.
The student will also be taught how to use tools to assist in wireless design and management. Hands on experience is vital, so practice labs are included in the class.
This is one of four exams required for the Cisco-Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Wireless certification
