Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a trusted and respected ethical hacking training program that any Information Security professional will find invaluable. This course trains the professional in methodologies of detecting attacks, responding to the threats, and generally protecting the network.

CEH is the world’s most advanced ethical hacking course, covering 20 of the most important security domains any individual will need to know when they are planning to beef-up the information security posture of their organization. The course provides hacking techniques and tools used by hackers and information security professionals.

Since its inception in 2003, the Certified Ethical Hacker has been the preferred choice of the industry globally. It is a respected certification in the industry and is listed as a baseline certification on the United States Department of Defense Directive 8570.

The CEH exam is ANSI 17024 compliant adding credibility and value to this certification. CEH is also used as a hiring standard and is a core certification which is sought after by many Fortune 500 organizations, government departments.

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Training for EC-Council Certification

Course Objectives

  • Describe the fundamentals of network defense
  • Identify network threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks
  • Explain hacking methodologies and their countermeasures
  • Describe penetration testing methodologies
  • Explain the processes for incident response

In this course, the theory-to-hands-on practice ratio is 60:40.

Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in the Information Security domain
  • Pay non-refundable exam application fee ($100)

Exam Required for Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification

To gain CEH certification, the student must pass the following exam:

  • Exam: 312-50 (via ECC or PearsonVUE)

Duration of exam: 240 minutes (4 hours)
