After taking this training, the student should be able to:
- Set up and install common peripheral devices to a laptop/PC or secure a basic wireless network.
- Describe applications software, the various components of an operating system and the purpose of methods of application architecture.
- Explain notational systems, computing basics and the value of data and troubleshooting.
- Define programming language categories, logic and the purpose of programming concepts.
- Describe database concepts, structures and purpose, as well as methods used to interface.
- Explain the confidentiality, integrity and availability concerns of secure devices and best practice methods.
