Class Overview
CompTIA’s Server Plus
, or Server+, training is aimed at IT professionals who install, manage, and troubleshoot servers in data centers as well as on-premise and hybrid environments.
Server+ ensures IT professionals possess the skills to securely install, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot servers. The training covers essential hardware and software technologies including high availability, cloud computing, and scripting.
Server+ also addresses server hardware installation and management, server administration, security and disaster recovery, and troubleshooting. It ensures that IT professionals develop the skills needed to manage physical and virtualized servers, while reflecting the increasing industry adoption of cloud-based solutions.

Prerequisite Knowledge Advisory
Although there are no formal prerequisites, before taking this class you should have:
- 2 years’ experience of working, hands-on, in a server environment.
- Administrator+ (A+) certified, or equivalent knowledge.
