Class Overview

Cisco’s Understanding Cisco Wireless Foundations , or WLFNDU, training class gives you the knowledge and skills you need to position, plan, implement, operate, and manage a Cisco® Wireless LAN (WLAN) network.

This training class teaches you how to design, install, configure, monitor, and conduct basic troubleshooting tasks on a Cisco WLAN network of any size.

The class consists of 5 days’ Instructor-led Training (ILT). There is NO associated exam or certification. This training class is for knowledge advancement only. Although this training class does not lead directly to a certification exam, it does cover foundational knowledge that can help you prepare for professional-level enterprise wireless classes and exams.

If you prefer to follow certification exam training classes only, please consider the following associated classes:

After taking this training, the student should be able to:
- Describe and implement foundational wireless theory.
- Describe and implement basic wireless security and client access.
- Describe and implement a Cisco wireless network architecture.
- Configure Cisco centralized wireless networks.
- Describe and implement WLAN maintenance and troubleshooting.

Prerequisite Knowledge Advisory

Before taking this training, you should have:
- General knowledge of networks
- General knowledge of wireless networks
- Routing and Switching knowledge
