CompTIA Network Plus (N+, N Plus)

CompTIA Network Plus (also known as N+ and N Plus) is a performance-based certification that helps you develop a career in IT infrastructure by validating the hands-on skills needed to troubleshoot, configure, and manage both wired and wireless networks.

The course takes the student from basic concepts of how networks are designed and logically follows through with security concepts then progresses to management and troubleshooting.

This course prepares the student to sit the CompTIA Network Plus, N Plus, or otherwise known as N+ exam.

Course Objectives

  • Configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices
  • Use devices such as switches and routers to segment network traffic and create resilient networks
  • Identify benefits and drawbacks of existing network configurations

Pre-Requisite Knowledge Advisory

At least 9-12 months networking experience
Knowledge gained from, for example, CompTIA A+ class

Exam Required for CompTIA N+ Certification

To gain N+ certification, the student must pass the following exam:

  • Exam 220-901 – CompTIA N+

Duration of exam: 90 minutes (90 questions)
Passing Score: 720
